Line Cook/Prep Cook
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as peeling, grating, and slicing ingredients
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Cook food items on the line during service hours
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure safety and proper cooking times
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
