We are seeking a 2nd Shift Flat Laser Operator to safely and efficiently operate flat laser cutting equipment. This role is responsible for producing high‑quality parts, maintaining equipment, and supporting a fast‑paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate flat laser cutting machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
- Perform machine setups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a flat laser, CNC laser, or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial, fast‑paced environment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Team‑oriented attitude with a focus on safety
