Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the development, implementation, and management of various programs designed to enhance youth development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on educating and empowering youth.
Responsibilities
- Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes
- Promote and stimulate program participation
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members
- Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety and development of members.
- Assist in fundraising efforts to secure resources for program sustainability.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide youth effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for educating diverse audiences.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
- Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities for members.
- Perform assigned duties to fulfill requirements of grant funded programs.
- Regular attendance is required. The success of the program and safety of the youth depends upon all staff working the hours assigned.
- Be able to work flexible hours.
- Posses a clean driving record
