Responsibilities:
- Assist chiro and/or physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Set up and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Clean and maintain equipment and supplies
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the Chiro and/or physical therapist
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a physical therapy aide or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong patient service skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and patient care
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility exercises and perform other physically demanding tasks
