American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MRI) or AMRIT registration and OBMI licensure for a 13-week travel contract.

Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, including Friday 9:00 AM-9:30 PM and Saturday/Sunday 6:00 AM-6:30 PM rotations

13-week assignment length
-
MRI Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology department
-
Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
-
Must be registered with the ARRT in MRI, or AMRIT
-
Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license acceptable)

License required if applicable
-
BLS from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire

2 years of experience as RT, RDMS, or CNMT preferred

Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred

Epic Charting experience required

Must be capable of operating MRI equipment, computer systems, film processors, and other technical supportive devices

Expected to work independently

Must have strong interpersonal communication skills with appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming

Must maintain confidentiality of patient, personnel, and other sensitive information

First-time travelers may be considered

Former permanent employees must wait six months after termination before applying to travel positions within the health system

Facility prefers to book candidates 3-4 weeks out from the current date
-
RTO must be finalized at the time of submission, with additional RTO requests after submission potentially affecting candidacy

Block scheduling is not accommodated

Candidates may only be submitted to one position within the health system
