Reports To: Production Operations Manager
Position Summary: Distribute CLS product to differing branches via semi tractor trailer. The routes are rotated between drivers, and the start time varies on the route, but the start time is typically in the early evenings and returns early mornings.
Working Conditions: Prevailing weather conditions.
Equipment Used: Multi-geared single/double Axel tractor, Box trailer
Essential Tasks:
- Loading and unloading of bins from relay trailers to plant and branch locations.
- Ability to move bins and carts with wheels up to 800 lbs.
- Ensure clean products are properly delivered to each branch.
- Ensure soiled products are properly removed from each branch.
- Ensure safety of tractor/trailer through daily inspections.
- Properly report tractor/trailer safety issues.
- Safely operate semi-tractor experience.
- All other tasks as required by supervisor.
Requirements:
- One year of previous semi-tractor experience
- ******* Valid CDL- A and DOT card *********
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Tractor trailer training
- Certification of road testing
- Certification of CDL-A license
Responsibilities: Ensure all products are delivered and retrieved as scheduled at each branch for complete customer satisfaction.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Be able to push/pull industrial laundry carts up a 15-degree incline.
- Ability to quickly respond to surrounding road and weather conditions.
