Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide inpatient post-operative care in a hospital setting in Largo, MD. This role focuses on floor-based patient management only — no operating room responsibilities.
Schedule
- 3–4 shifts per week
- 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Flexible scheduling (weekdays + weekends)
Responsibilities
- Manage post-operative patients on the inpatient floor
- Perform daily rounds, assessments, and documentation
- Monitor recovery and identify complications
- Collaborate with surgical and multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate care plans and discharges
Requirements
- Active Maryland NP or PA license (required)
- Board Certified
- Hospitalist, cardiovascular, or cardiothoracic experience preferred
- ACLS & BLS required
- DEA & CSR required
- Must be comfortable working independently
