Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, identifying any issues or potential problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in a wide range of vehicles.
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot complex problems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with automotive technology advancements and attend training sessions as required.
- Inspect machine for mechanical parts and they are found to be in need of repair.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Inspect electrical system for issues and repair as needed.
- Repair or replace broken parts on machines.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on machines.
- Perform repairs to ensure equipment runs as good as it can be under the conditions it faces each day.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Keep accurate records of repairs performed and costs incurred on the repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal automotive training program is preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- ASE certification is a plus.
- Ability to do manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have good vision and hearing.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check..
