Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Liquor Store Administrator / Cashier to join our retail Liquor Store. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience through excellent customer service and efficient store operations. You will manage daily cash handling, inventory control, and administrative tasks while supporting the overall management of the store. Your energetic approach and leadership skills will help create a welcoming environment that promotes sales growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, Check ID and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments securely
- Manage inventory levels through stock monitoring, stocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory audits to prevent shrinkage
- Support purchasing activities by assisting with vendor communications, price negotiations, and order processing
- Supervise daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and ensuring compliance with company policies
Experience
- Experience in retail sales management / Liquor retail store preferred.
- Proficiency in POS systems
- Ability in inventory management, merchandising, etc. and stock control practices
- Previous grocery or wireless sales experience is a plus but not required; a background in retail store product knowledge is advantageous
