American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and EPIC proficiency.

Work in the 4B Surgical unit of a Level 1 trauma center hospital environment

Patient population includes urology, gynecology, orthopedic, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases
-
Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
No on-call responsibilities

Traveler expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month

Block scheduling generally not approved

Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical specialty required

Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments with high patient volume and diverse, severe cases required

Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals not accepted

EPIC EMR experience required

Current certifications and certification cards required for consideration

Nursys license verification required for consideration

Provide nursing care to a diverse med/surg patient population in a high-acuity, inner-city trauma center

No RTO permitted during this assignment

Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
