We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest problems, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of pests, pest control techniques and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify any pest issues
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement the pest control treatment plan based on the specific needs of each property and customer
- Apply pesticides and other pest control measures in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
- Monitor treated areas to ensure effectiveness of treatment and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide recommendations to customers on how to prevent future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of work orders
Skills:
- Strong drive and motivation to deliver exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in Pest Control or related field is desirable, but not necessary. Willing to train
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for pest control applications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
Wages are based on experience. Company vehicle & vehicle insurance provided. Employment subject to driver' license and background checks. Health & vision benefits offered after 90 days. Vacation offered after 1 year. 40 hours per week guaranteed all year round. No lay-offs.
