Job Overview
We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
- Take digital X-rays
- Prep and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Chat with patients, take their medical histories, and make them feel at ease
- Share oral hygiene tips and post-op instructions
- Help keep patient records and the schedule running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Current X-ray certification (required)
- Experience with intraoral scanners is a big plus!
- Solid knowledge of dental procedures and infection control
- Great communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat
