MUST BE LOCATED within Prince George’s County area, Beltsville, MD, AND HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SCHOOL-AGE YOUTH. A Sewing & Fashion Design instructor needed to teach students ranging from K-8th during the 2026-2027 School Year. Sewing & Fashion Design, open to various Sewing & Fashion Design techniques. This position is for in-person instruction. Pay ranges from $50.00-$60.00 depending on experience and Classes are in two 8 weeks of session. Also, may have multiple contracts at multiple sites.

Sewing & Fashion Design teacher needed to teach the basics of sewing and fashion design. A material budget will be given and 2+ sewing machines available depending on students’ ability.

Major Responsibilities

- Contributes to ensuring that facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School diploma
- Ability to obtain a clear background check within the agency’s timeline.
- A minimum of one year experience working with creative and visual art programs.
- Use of equipment and tools related to work.
- Principles related to the development of youth.
- Group leadership skills and understanding of group dynamics.
· Experience with various forms of sewing (hand / machine / embroidery, etc.)
