We are seeking a dynamic, skilled, and experienced Permanent Electrical Foreman for our growing construction team. This role is a critical part of our operation, ensuring all electrical work on our projects is carried out to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
Our Electrical Foreman will be responsible for supervising projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, safety compliance, and team leadership. You will work on a variety of projects, with a particular focus on school projects. This role offers a competitive prevailing wage and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct electrical projects from conception to completion.
2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and deliverables.
3. Review work progress daily and adjust schedules as needed.
4. Ensure the project is running on time and to budget, making adjustments as necessary.
5. Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are followed at all times.
6. Provide leadership and direction to your team, fostering a positive work environment.
7. Conduct quality control checks regularly to maintain high standards of work.
8. Utilize project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam to track project progress and report issues.
9. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
10. Continually review and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Electrical Foreman role or similar within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing large-scale school projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, and construction processes.
4. Demonstrated experience in scheduling, budgeting, and project management.
5. Proficiency in using project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. A commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
10. Relevant certification or qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
