American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Oncology Care position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency in a day-shift, outpatient setting.

Ambulatory care clinic setting serving oncology patients
-
Specialized oncology services include psychosocial support, rehabilitation, fertility preservation, integrative oncology, survivorship care, and adolescent and young adult oncology (ages 15-39)

Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Support staff on unit includes interpretation services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, social services, and unit secretary

EMR: Epic experience required

Family care clinic, internal medicine, and urgent care experience required

Active OH or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Proficiency in clinical assessments including interpretation of lab results, medication reconciliation, patient health questionnaires/history/allergies, and vital signs

Experience with procedures including dressing changes and aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup

Specimen collection skills required: capillary, venipuncture/phlebotomy, throat, urine (UA/clean catch), and specimen labeling

Experience with office duties including pharmacy calls/patient refill requests and telephone triage

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); Charge RN acceptable as 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted
