The Embroidery and Screen Printing Team Leader will assist in the operations of the Screen Printing and Embroidery department.
Overview of what the Team Leader does:
- Tracks deadlines and assists in creating/following a production schedule.
- Assists in assigning tasks to employees.
- Checks quality standards of printed and embroidered items.
- Reads work orders and purchase orders.
- Assists with creating work orders and purchasing items.
- Assists with shipping and receiving.
- Provides good customer service.
- Assists with trouble shooting machine errors and product defects.
- Provides minor machinery maintenance and repair.
- Hoops garments and operates the embroidery machine.
- Burns, reclaims, and sets up screens. Screen prints items.
- Provides mentoring and training to employees.
We are looking for
- Someone who is experienced in the embroidery and screen printing trades.
- Someone who is a motivated, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Someone who has good attention to detail skills.
- Someone who can multi-task in a fast-paced production setting.
- Someone who has good time management skills.
- Someone who is able to motivate and teach others.
- Someone who is able to speak, read, and follow directions in English.
The schedule is Monday-Friday; 8 am to 4 pm. Wage: DOE.
Evenings off. Weekends off. Major holidays off.
