Seasonal Truck Driver Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Seasonal Truck Driver to join our team from August 2026 through November 2026, with the potential for long-term employment based on performance. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in our busy season, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of agricultural and lumber loads.
What You'll Do:
- Safely operate and maneuver various commercial vehicles, including flatbed, hopper, and van trailers.
- Transport loads to and from designated locations.
- Complete and maintain accurate paperwork for all loads, including logs, delivery manifests, and any other required documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- A minimum of two years of verifiable commercial driving history.
- Doubles and triples endorsements are required.
- A clean driving record with no major violations.
- Proven experience with flatbed, hopper, and van trailers is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Ability to work six days a week.
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to operate various equipment such as tractors, forklifts and miscellaneous heavy equipment is preferred but not required
