Collaborates with Pharmacy staff in maximizing an HIV formulary and assisting the pharmacy in seeking inclusions of HIV agents in MCO formularies as they become FDA approved

Keeps CBHS clinical staff aware of updates to HIV guidelines and new research findings through regular presentations at staff meetings

Ensures that medical staff and other interested/involved departments (nursing, CMOD) are aware of current clinical trials and enrollment criteria

Represents CBHS to the medical and patient Communities, as well as the community at-large, as an expert in HIV medicine

Reads and responds to e-mail in a timely manner

Answers phone calls/pages within 30 minutes

Serves on MST Task Force

Responds promptly to queries from sponsors about specific cases

Participates in internal committees and teams as requested

Is an activist for his/her patients (data sources: peer review, chart audits)
