Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers and process payments accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food items when necessary.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and assistance to enhance their experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or special functions, ensuring all supplies are ready for service.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as required.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
