Kennel Technician
The Kennel Technician is responsible for the daily care and well-being of dogs in the facility. Duties include safely letting dogs in an out of kennels for potty breaks and exercise, feeding accordinding to established schedules and dietary instructions, administering medications as directed, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. This role also involves cleaning kennels, runs and common areas, monitoring dogs for health or behavior concerns, and ensuring all animals are comfortable, safe, and properly cared for at all times.
This position is designed as a growth role. Kennel Technicians who demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and safe, effective dog-handling will have the opportunity to progress into a Dog Trainer role as they prove their ability to handle dogs appropriately and follow protocols.
Must have kennel tech experience and availability to work Sundays and holidays.
Qualifications
- Strong animal handling and care skills
- Passion for pet care and training
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn dog training techniques
- Experience in kennel operations a plus
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and active work with animals

Duties
- Cleaning up after dogs potty on floor or in their crates
- Cleaning crates, floors, carpets or anything else needing cleaned

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
