Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic attitude to make them feel at home
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and courteous assistance
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth flow of seating and guest service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences to enhance guest relations
- Support guest services by providing directions, answering questions, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as TOAST is a plus
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Reliable, energetic, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
