We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Contract Physical Therapist to join our team at a SNF in Newburyport, MA. As a Contract PT, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their specific needs
Administer therapy treatments and exercises to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and ways to promote healing and recovery
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
Current PT license in the state of Massachusetts
Prior experience working in a SNF setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
