The Fuel/Lube Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a fuel and lubrication truck to service and maintain construction and heavy equipment. This position performs fueling, lubrication, fluid checks, oil and filter changes, preventive maintenance, inspections, and related services, while adhering to company and jobsite safety requirements.

Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Minimum one year of experience as a fuel/lube technician, oiler, or in a similar heavy-equipment service role.

Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment, diesel maintenance, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

Experience checking and maintaining engine oil, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, and other equipment fluids.

Ability to accurately complete electronic and paper service records and collect fluid samples when required.

Ability to work safely in changing weather, traffic, terrain, and jobsite conditions.

Must meet company requirements for background checks, drug testing, and other applicable employment screenings.

Safely operate and maintain the fuel/lube truck on public roadways and jobsites.

Fuel, lubricate, and service construction and heavy equipment.
-
Check and maintain proper fluid levels, including engine oil, hydraulics, transmission, differential, power steering, coolant, and battery fluids when applicable.

Perform oil changes and replace oil, fuel, and air filters as required.

Lubricate and grease equipment components according to manufacturer specifications.

Inspect equipment during servicing and report maintenance concerns or recommended repairs.

Collect fluid samples and maintain accurate daily service records.

Keep the service truck, tools, supplies, and work areas clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.

Perform other duties as assigned based on operational and jobsite needs.

Follow all company, customer, jobsite, and regulatory safety requirements.

Attend required safety meetings and training.

Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.

Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, injuries, accidents, and incidents to the appropriate Supervisor or Safety Personnel.

Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, traffic, and changing jobsite conditions.

Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and within established schedules.

Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, initiative, and sound judgment.

Recognize priorities and communicate problems or maintenance concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate records and an organized work environment.

Work effectively and professionally with Supervisors, operators, mechanics, customers, and other team members.

Regularly stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, climb, and balance.

Regularly use hands to operate tools, equipment, and controls.

Repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Must have sufficient close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision to safely perform assigned duties.

Must be able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
Work is primarily performed outdoors around construction and heavy equipment. Employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures, rain, snow, wind, uneven terrain, traffic, noise, fuels, lubricants, moving equipment, and other typical construction-site hazards.
The Fuel/Lube Truck Driver is expected to perform all assigned duties safely and may be required to perform additional tasks as operational needs arise.
