Experience Required: 0 – 5 years’ experience
Hughes-Ray Company, Inc., Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects, located in
the Atlanta and Charleston areas, has an opening for a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Civil Engineering and an undergraduate internship position available. Our firm’s engineering,
surveying, and landscape architecture sections combine staff experience and credentials in a
broad range of planning and design services.
Preferred Knowledge: Candidate should possess experience in or a desire to be involved in
performing assignments designed to develop professional engineering work knowledge and
abilities. Work requires application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying
out a sequence of related engineering tasks. The candidate will participate as a member of a
design or project team, perform engineering duties in planning and designing of structures and
facilities, such as commercial site development, single-family and multi-family communities,
land disturbance activity permitting, sporting club and resort communities, construction
documentation, erosion and sediment control and storm water management issues.
Skills: AutoCAD required, Hydraflow, StormCAD
