Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of a vibrant dog care center specializing in dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily facility operations, including dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training activities
- Coordinate schedules for staff members, trainers, groomers, and kennel attendants to ensure smooth workflow
- Oversee animal handling procedures, ensuring proper restraint and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility to promote health and safety
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and resolving concerns promptly
- Monitor pet care routines to ensure animals receive appropriate feeding, exercise, grooming, and training
- Conduct regular inspections of kennels, play areas, grooming stations, and training spaces to uphold safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on dog care experience (daycare, boarding, grooming, veterinary, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, restraint techniques, and handling procedures
- Experience with dog training techniques and pet sitting responsibilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for kennel cleaning or equipment setup
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing a team in an animal care environment
- Knowledge of health regulations related to pet care facilities and sanitation practices
