We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques.
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service times.
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus but not required.
