What You'll Do
As our Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the financial health of our company by managing customer accounts, collections, billing accuracy, and supporting our production teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage Accounts Receivable and customer collections
- Post daily customer payments and reconcile accounts
- Process credits, adjustments, and journal entries
- Monitor aging reports and maintain A/R balances below company goals
- Conduct weekly collection meetings with production coordinators
- Produce weekly performance reports for ownership and management
- Review billing to ensure invoices are accurate and timely
- Recommend accounts for legal collection when necessary
- Monitor legal collection activity
- Maintain exceptional customer relationships while collecting balances
- Support incoming customer calls and assist with new claim intake as needed
- Assist with office operations and administrative functions
- Collaborate with multiple departments to improve efficiency and cash flow
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
- 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong commercial and residential collections experience
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Accounting software experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
- Customer Service Skills
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Restoration industry
- Construction industry
- Insurance claims
- Xactimate
- PSA or similar management software
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License with good driving record
- Drug-Free Workplace
- Background Check Required
