Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, overseeing shifts, and providing mentorship to foster teamwork and professional growth.
- Oversee inventory control and food ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitizing procedures, health regulations, and sanitation standards across the kitchen.
- Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless service during special events and large functions.
- Assist in food cost control efforts to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment.
- Experience managing inventory and food waste.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Familiarity with banquet experience, dietary requirements, and hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
