We are looking to hire a team member to assist in our Herculaneum front office who can soon progress to an Audiology Technician role, under the supervision of an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist. This professional development track includes the opportunity for licensure via an in-house training and mentorship program, increasing both responsibility and earning potential.
The Position:
As the first point of contact for patients, successful candidate will be a kind, friendly, enthusiastic and compassionate individual, eager to join our patient-centered and community-oriented practice, providing excellent support and contributing to the success of the team!
Responsibilities:
· Greeting patients, checking them in and out, and collecting payments
· Using the phone and computer to arrange appointments and manage the office schedule
· Accurately maintaining medical records and systems for patient reminders
· Preparing daily charts and paperwork for upcoming appointments
· Verifying insurance and explaining coverage to patients
· Cultivating meaningful relationships with staff, patients, and their families
· All other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED required. Prefer an Associated Degree in administrative, accounting, or patient oriented field or equivalent experience.
· Positive, motivated, committed, and self-directed professional attitude
· Good organization, strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
· Must be self-motivated with good time management skills.
· Consistent ability to work respectfully in an interdependent team environment
· Ability to prioritize duties and coordinate workload in a fast-paced environment
