Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to oversee H2B workforce operations within shipyard and industrial environments. This role involves managing labor contracts, coordinating onboarding, tracking workforce performance, and maintaining strong relationships with upper management across multiple plant locations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel.
Duties
- Manage and oversee H2B workforce operations across multiple project sites
- Coordinate employee onboarding, documentation, and compliance
- Track employee hours, attendance, and productivity
- Act as a liaison between field workers and upper management
- Current contracts
- Staffing needs
- New project opportunities
- Assist in securing and managing new contracts and project work
- Border region, McAllen, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Houston, and Louisiana
- Ensure effective team coordination and communication
- Support workforce planning and deployment strategies
- Address worker concerns and maintain a positive work environment
- Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring that projects stay within budget.
- Collaborate with other project managers to develop labor plans and schedules.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Resolve any labor-related issues or conflicts that may arise during projects.
- Support new sales and business development activities, including assisting with client outreach and project initiation.
Qualifications
- Experience in project management, workforce coordination, or industrial operations
- Knowledge or experience working with H2B programs (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and executive leadership
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and locations
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
