Job Description
The Radiologic Technology Faculty member is responsible for providing high-quality didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction that supports student learning and success in the Radiologic Technology Program. The faculty member(s) participate in curriculum implementation, student advising, assessment activities, and accreditation processes while fostering a positive learning environment that promotes professional growth, critical thinking, ethical practice, and clinical competence. The position supports the Program Director in maintaining program quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Faculty are expected to maintain current knowledge and expertise in radiologic sciences through ongoing professional development and active engagement in the profession.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire. No pre-employment sponsorship is authorized for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and maintain course syllabi, outlines, learning objectives, instructional materials, and evaluation methods consistent with program and institutional requirements.

Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback regarding academic and clinical progress.

Participate in program assessment, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement activities.

Support the Program Director in assuring effective program operations and compliance with institutional, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

Participate in the periodic review, evaluation, and revision of curriculum, course materials, and instructional methodologies.

Maintain current knowledge of radiologic sciences, educational methodologies, and emerging healthcare technologies.

Maintain appropriate professional credentials, expertise, and competence through continuing professional development and active engagement in the profession.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Qualified to teach radiologic technology courses
-
Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising

At least one year of clinical experience in the professional discipline
-
Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography
Preferred Qualifications
-
Master’s degree

Two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline

Previous teaching experience in a radiologic technology program or equivalent program.

Qualified to teach radiologic technology and computed tomography (CT) and/or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
-
Experience with accreditation, assessment, or curriculum development activities
Other Requirements

Ability to travel and work beyond normal office hours.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
