Responsible for performing various production-related tasks from harvesting of crops to preparation of final products to facility maintenance. Specific tasks may include harvesting of plants, bucking and trimming of buds, participating in the drying and curing process, assisting with preparing wholesale and retail orders, helping to produce and package an array of Marijuana-Infused Products, and helping to maintain a cleaning schedule for the facility. Primary responsibilities include ensuring that assigned production tasks are performed correctly and on schedule, and that company and state-compliance standards are maintained at all times. Compensation is $18 to $20/hour.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and manage cultivation waste
- Cleans and sanitizes dry rooms
- Destem Cannabis efficiently and meticulously to ensure a market quality product
- Manicure buds carefully and quickly to meet daily/weekly quotas
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote efficiency.
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes.
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensuring compliance at all times, including keeping inventory shrinkage to zero
- Maintain absolute confidentiality at all times.
- Requires the ability to sit or stand for 8 hours per day and requires consistent hand eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity.
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously.
- Ensuring standards of quality, and health and safety are met
Employment Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must pass a comprehensive background check annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission and CNA Stores set regulations.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to business needs.
- Have or be willing to acquire knowledge of cannabis products and processing techniques.
- Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred.
- 0-1yrs previous experience in cannabis manufacturing industry
