Clicky Bezel is an independent watch retailer and media company built for enthusiasts. What started as a passion for mechanical watches has grown into one of the leading destinations for independent brands in the United States, bringing together collectors, newcomers, and curious enthusiasts through retail, education, and storytelling.
Our San Francisco boutique showcases a carefully curated selection of independent watch brands, premium straps, and thoughtfully chosen accessories in an approachable, hands-on environment. We believe buying a watch should feel personal, educational, and memorable.
As we continue to grow, we're excited to expand into Southern California, with plans to open our next boutique in Orange County / Los Angeles in late 2026 or early 2027. We're looking for passionate watch enthusiasts who want to grow alongside a young, ambitious company that is helping shape the independent watch community.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Part-Time Sales Associate who is genuinely passionate about watches. This is an essential requirement.
Our customers are knowledgeable, detail oriented, and genuinely excited about horology. They expect thoughtful conversations about brands, movements, design, history, and collecting. Whether someone is buying their first mechanical watch or adding to a long-established collection, your goal is to make every visit welcoming, educational, and enjoyable.
You will provide an exceptional in-store experience, assist customers with watches and accessories, support daily operations, and occasionally manage the boutique independently. You may also assist during special events, brand launches, and community gatherings. Hours are based on store coverage and events, so flexibility is appreciated.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a warm, knowledgeable shopping experience
- Engage in thoughtful conversations about watches, brands, movements, and design
- Assist customers with watch, strap, and accessory selections
- Complete transactions using Shopify POS
- Maintain store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Open and close the boutique following established procedures
- Process online orders and assist with basic fulfillment when needed
- Provide daily sales updates and operational notes to management
- Represent the Clicky Bezel brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for watches and watch collecting is required
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable speaking with both experienced collectors and first-time buyers
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Trustworthy and comfortable handling valuable merchandise
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and special events
Compensation & Schedule
- Part-time hourly position
- Starting pay: $21 per hour
- Hours vary based on store coverage and special events
