The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is the regulatory supervisor of state member banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies in its district. Situated within the Supervision, Credit, and Learning Division, the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Unit processes bank and holding company regulatory filings and notifications for mergers, acquisitions, change in control notices, investments in bank premises, and branch filings.
The M&A Unit has a position open for a Regulatory Analyst. As an M&A Regulatory Analyst, you will report to the unit manager and perform analysis of the statutory factors considered in connection with a variety of bank supervision-related filings with the Federal Reserve System.
The M&A Regulatory Analyst will document the way in which relevant statutory factors have been met and support the Reserve Bank's delegated actions or recommendations to Federal Reserve Board of Governors staff.
Analyze data, evaluate reports and review for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies to reach accurate, in-depth conclusions.
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business administration or similar fields of study or commensurate experience
Have specialized knowledge in M&A areas (e.g., banking, banking regulation, regulatory policy, accounting or law or related areas)

Salary: $103,800-$135,000
