Commercial Roofing Operations Manager
Location: North Dallas–Fort Worth, TX | Local Candidates Only
Base Salary: $125,000 + Strong Incentive Package
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Operations Manager to lead field operations for a growing commercial roofing operation in the North Dallas–Fort Worth area. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing project execution, field teams, financial performance, and operational accountability.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who genuinely enjoys training, mentoring, and developing others while maintaining a firm understanding of project financials and overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee day-to-day commercial roofing field operations, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, crews, and subcontractors.

Provide leadership, coaching, training, and mentorship to operational and field teams.

Oversee project performance from handoff through completion, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and profitability expectations.

Manage and review project financials, budgets, labor costs, margins, and estimated cost to completion (EAC/ETC).

Conduct regular project reviews to identify cost overruns, schedule concerns, production issues, and potential risks.

Hold Project Managers and field leadership accountable for project performance and financial results.

Partner with estimating, sales, safety, and executive leadership to ensure smooth project execution.

Assist with manpower planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management.

Develop and implement operational processes that improve efficiency, profitability, and communication.

Build a strong culture centered around accountability, teamwork, safety, employee development, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For

10+ years of commercial roofing experience, with progressive leadership responsibility preferred.

Strong background in commercial roofing operations, production, and project management.

Experience overseeing multiple Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.

Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, budgets, job costing, margins, and estimated cost to completion.

Knowledge of major commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metal.

Proven ability to develop, mentor, and hold teams accountable.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance field operations with the financial and strategic side of the business.

Must currently reside in the North Dallas–Fort Worth area. Relocation is not available for this position.
Compensation
$125,000 base salary + a strong performance-based incentive package, along with a competitive benefits package.
