Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections efficiently and accurately
- Perform minor mechanical repairs such as brake adjustments, belt replacements, and other standard passenger car maintenance tasks
- Assist with wheel alignments and tire service to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance procedures according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors
- Support automotive diagnostics to identify issues requiring further repair or inspection
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger vehicles is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and fluid replacement procedures
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment safely
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and equipment regularly during vehicle servicing
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards sales and vehicle maintenance recommendations
