This position is for a highly motivated Medical Graduate (MD, DO, FMG/IMG) to join our dynamic medical team as a Physician Extender. Our practice specializes in Neurology, Physical Medicine, and Orthopedics, with multiple locations across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Long Island. About the Job:
You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with clinic notes, placing orders, and reviewing medical records. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, thrive in a busy setting, and efficiently complete charts.
Specifics:

Schedule: 5 days a week (Monday to Saturday), 845 AM - 615 PM.

Locations: Must be able to travel to clinics in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Long Island.
Responsibilities:

See new consults and follow-ups.

Obtain and record patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality.

Coordinate daily administrative activities, including completing forms and other letters.

Finish all clinical notes with accuracy same day.

Assist with patient call backs and developing treatment plans.
Requirements:

Highly motivated with a willingness to learn.

Speed and accuracy in documentation and history taking.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent writing skills.

Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Fluency in English.

Prior experience in taking medical histories, scribing encounters, and completing medical documentation is preferred.

High digital literacy and Computer literacy.

Must be legally allowed to work in New York State (e.g., active work visa, or US citizen).
