Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist with preventative maintenance including HVAC coil cleaning (training provided), filter changes, battery replacements, light bulb replacements, and smoke detector testing.
- Assist with hallway painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, furniture moving, and general common area upkeep.
- Support landscaping by planting flowers and shrubs, spreading mulch, watering, weeding, trimming, and maintaining landscape beds.
- Assist with apartment turns by helping prepare homes through cleaning, painting, trash removal, and other general labor tasks.
- Help maintain amenity areas, clubhouses, fitness centers, pools, and outdoor spaces.
- Assist with inspections, resident events, vendor visits, ownership tours, and other community projects.
- Move materials, organize maintenance shops, stock supplies, and properly use and care for company tools and equipment.

What You Need for Success
- Ability to work in alignment with CIP’s Core Values while delivering dependable service and an exceptional experience to residents and coworkers
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks, tools, or minor repairs is preferred.
- Experience with general labor, groundskeeping, painting, cleaning, or basic maintenance tasks is preferred.
- General hands-on experience preferred, including cleaning, painting, groundskeeping, light repairs, or basic maintenance tasks. Full maintenance technician experience is not required.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential function of this role
- Ability to safely and legally operate an automobile and golf cart
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pressure washers, snow blowers, trucks and/or tractors with snow blades, ladders, riding lawn mowers, and lifts
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to interpret and retain written, oral, and electronic instructions
- Valid driver’s license with minimal violations required; additional certifications (such as CPR) may be required
