The White Oak Library District, serving the communities of Crest Hill, Lockport, and Romeoville, Illinois is seeking applicants interested in a full time Outreach Clerk II position at our Romeoville Branch. This position equals 40 hours per week.
The selected candidate will be expected to handle all aspects of patron services in an Outreach Department team atmosphere, both in house and at remote locations. Excellent customer service / people skills are a must. Position reports to the Outreach Manager.
Minimum qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma and a valid Illinois driver’s license. Relevant library experience is a plus. Applicants should have computer experience, including Internet and the use of online databases. Knowledge of the Polaris Database is a plus. Applicants will also be required to travel between our facilities and offsite locations as needed. Applicants will also need to possess the ability and willingness to drive a full sized sprinter van and/or a 37 foot long bookmobile vehicle as assigned. Clerk II salary range begins at $18.00 per hour and increases commensurate with performance.
