American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) with orthopedic robotic experience for a hospital main OR position working day shifts on a 13-week contract.

Hospital main OR and OB/C-section setting

Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (7:00 AM – 5:15 PM)

Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required

Weekday call consists of a minimum of two 8-hour call shifts per week, beginning at the end of the working shift
-
Weekend call is a minimum of one 24-hour call shift per 4-week schedule (Saturday 7:00 AM – Sunday 7:00 AM or Sunday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Holiday call is required in addition to weekend call, structured as a 24-hour shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Must be available to arrive at the hospital within 20 minutes for emergencies while on call

For scheduled on-call cases, arrival is required one hour prior to case start

13-week contract

CSFA certification required

One week of hands-on orientation provided on-site (4 or 5 days depending on shift length), in addition to any off-site orientation

On-call responsibilities include C-sections staffed by the OR on-call team

After on-call cases, staff are responsible for cleaning rooms and instruments, replacing disposable items, and setting up the room for potential emergent C-sections before departing
