A+ Salon in Irvine, CA is hiring an experienced Hair Stylist!
We are looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly stylist who enjoys working with clients and takes pride in providing high-quality hair services. We are especially interested in candidates who speak Chinese and have experience working in a busy salon environment.
Qualifications
- Valid California Cosmetology License – Required
- 2+ years of professional hair styling experience – Required
- Chinese speaking – Required
- English speaking is a plus
- Reliable transportation and dependable commute to Irvine
- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Available to work long hours/shifts when needed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy salon environment
- Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follows proper salon sanitation and safety practices
- Willing to learn and grow with the salon
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair services based on clients' needs
- Consult with clients and understand their desired hairstyles
- Provide quality haircuts, styling, coloring, and other services within your skill set
- Build positive relationships with clients and encourage repeat business
- Provide excellent customer service throughout each appointment
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all California sanitation and safety requirements
- Manage appointment time efficiently
- Work professionally and respectfully with clients and coworkers
