Overview
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to deliver exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards.
Essential Functions and Expectations
- Sweep and mop vinyl and tiled floors.
- Vacuum & Shampoo carpeted floors as necessary.
- Clean windows and mirrors as necessary.
- Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals, sinks, showers and countertops.
- Re-stock toilet paper, paper towels and soap dispensers.
- Empty trash from restrooms, offices and conference rooms.
- Remove dirt, finger prints, and smudges from interior wall surfaces.
- Sweep patios, decks, ramps and walks.
- Inform Lead Man of Housekeeping supplies to be ordered.
- Inform Lead Man of Maintenance deficiencies or mechanical problems.
- Assist all phases of snow removal.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of building cleaning methods and procedures;
- knowledge of the materials, supplies and
- Equipment utilized in cleaning activities.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and chemicals.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, use good judgment in carrying out written or oral instructions.
- Ability to operate mechanical cleaning devices.
- Must possess valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
