We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team. We are open Tuesday - Sunday and the candidate would need to be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. The resstaurant opens at 8am each day and stop serving at 1:30pm most days. Sunday we stop 1 hour sooner.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, cutting meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Proven cooking experience working in a restaurant or diner.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
