CDL-A OTR DRIVER – 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
SKYROAD INC is hiring experienced CDL-A OTR drivers. We offer consistent freight, competitive pay, weekly settlements, and professional dispatch support.
COMPENSATION
- $0.70 per mile for loaded and empty miles
- 4,000 miles per week guaranteed
- If fewer than 4,000 miles are provided by the company, SKYROAD INC will pay the difference, subject to driver availability, and on-time performance
- Weekly direct deposit
BONUSES
- $1,000 Driver Referral Bonus
- Level 1 DOT Inspection Bonus: $400
- Level 2 DOT Inspection Bonus: $300
- Level 3 DOT Inspection Bonus: $200
SCHEDULE
- Minimum 4 weeks OTR
- Up to 4 days of home time after each OTR rotation
- Nationwide OTR routes

- Phoenix, AZ → Irving, TX — approximately 1,060 miles
- Fontana, CA → Dallas, TX — approximately 1,390 miles
- Desert Hot Springs, CA → Dallas, TX — approximately 1,315 miles
- Greenville, TX → Goodyear, AZ — approximately 1,100 miles
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL-A and Medical Card
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A OTR experience
- Clear from the DOT SAP Program
- Acceptable driving and safety record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must agree to use a Samsara dual-facing safety camera
- Weekly truck PTI video required
IMPORTANT CONTRACT TERMS
- This is a full-time 1099 independent contractor position
- $2,500 refundable security deposit, deducted at $500 per week for five weeks
- The refundable security deposit will be returned within 45 days after the contract ends, provided all company equipment is returned and there are no outstanding contractual obligations.
- $250 charge may apply for each DOT violation point received due to driver responsibility
- A $500 charge may apply for an unreported late pickup or delivery and may be refunded after six consecutive clean weeks
- All contract terms, deductions, refund conditions, and safety policies will be provided in writing before onboarding
