Clearstone Surface Solutions is a veteran-owned, faith-based exterior cleaning company headquartered in La Vernia, Texas. We provide professional residential and commercial exterior cleaning services — house washing, roof cleaning, driveway cleaning, gutter cleaning, fence cleaning, window cleaning, and more — across Wilson County and six surrounding South Texas counties.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor position. You are not an employee. You set your own hours, work your assigned territory, and earn a percentage of every job you close. There is no salary, no hourly rate, and no ceiling on what you can make.
You will represent Clearstone Surface Solutions to residential homeowners and commercial clients through door-to-door canvassing. You will walk properties, identify service needs, build quotes on the spot using our mobile app, and close deals. The office handles scheduling, crew deployment, and collections — your job is to sell.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
- Canvass residential neighborhoods door-to-door within your assigned territory
- Walk properties, identify exterior cleaning needs, and build accurate quotes using the Clearstone provided mobile quoting app
- Present service packages and bundle discount options to homeowners and business owners
- Develop commercial relationships with local businesses, HOAs, and property management companies
- Log all door activity, leads, and follow-ups in Blueworks CRM after every visit
- Follow up consistently on warm leads to convert callbacks into closed sales
- Pursue commercial accounts for recurring service contracts

COMPENSATION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Our commission structure has three layers that stack on top of each other:
Base Commission: 10% on every completed and collected job — no exceptions.
Per-Job Flat Bonus: Additional flat bonuses paid on larger single jobs. The bonus tier begins at the $1,000 job level and increases from there.
Monthly Volume Add-On: Once your monthly closed revenue crosses certain thresholds, your base rate increases retroactively for that entire month — meaning every job you already closed that month gets recalculated at the higher rate.
One-Time Milestone Bonuses: We pay one-time bonuses when you hit significant milestones for the first time, including volume milestones, your first commercial account, your first HOA or property management contract, and more. Full details are provided to candidates upon request.
90-Day Retention Bonus: A bonus paid at 90 days for reps who are still active and producing.
Realistic monthly earnings based on closed sales volume:
- Getting started ($8,000/month in sales): approximately $840–$940/month
- Building momentum ($15,000/month in sales): approximately $1,700–$2,100/month
- Top performer ($30,000+/month in sales): $3,900+ per month, uncapped
Payment is made bi-weekly by check or direct deposit with an itemized commission statement every pay period.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:
- Self-motivated and driven — you are your own boss in this role and your income reflects your effort
- Strong interpersonal skills — confident, professional, and personable at the door
- Reliable personal vehicle (you will be driving your territory daily)
- Smartphone with iOS or Android (required for the quoting app and CRM)
- Ability to work independently without supervision or a fixed schedule
- Integrity and professionalism in all customer interactions
Not Required:
- Prior exterior cleaning knowledge — we train you on everything
- Prior sales experience is a plus but not a requirement
This role is NOT a fit for someone who needs a guaranteed paycheck, a set schedule, or daily supervision. It IS a fit for someone who is entrepreneurially minded and motivated by the direct relationship between effort and income.

- Mobile quoting app — builds, prices, and submits quotes from your phone in the field
- Branded gear: shirt, hat, name badge, and business cards
- Door hangers and field marketing materials
- Optional paid field observation day with an experienced rep before independent deployment
- Bi-weekly commission payments with itemized statements
- Written Independent Contractor Agreement with clearly documented terms — no surprises
