Job Summary
As a Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers calling our self-storage facilities. You will assist customers with renting storage units, answer questions, make outbound calls, and manage multiple facilities using our property management software. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from prospective and current customers.
- Assist customers with renting storage units and recommend products and services that best fit their needs.
- Meet or exceed individual sales and performance goals.
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers, follow up on leads, and contact existing tenants as needed.
- Manage customer accounts using the company’s property management system.
- Process payments, update account information, and document customer interactions accurately.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and resolve concerns.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and follow company policies and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, sales, call center, or self-storage experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Ability to multitask while speaking with customers.
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
