Title: Customer Service Representative/Vet assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative and Veterinary Assistant. This hybrid role involves both front-desk client interaction and hands-on support in the veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and outstanding service for their owners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and respond to client needs
Process payments
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
Assist veterinarians with exams and x-rays
Assist in administering medication and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and exam rooms
Provide basic animal care, including cleaning and feeding
Communicate with pet owners about their pet's health and treatment plan
Manage medical records and update patient files
Assist with customer service and reception duties as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic setting preferred, not required
Strong animal care skills, including knowledge of common breeds, behavior, and health concerns
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
Ability to handle animals calmly and safely
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
Pay: $18.00 per hour
