As a School Tutoring Monitor/Office Assistant Float, you will play an integral role in supporting both the administrative operations and student supervision needs of our organization, reporting directly to the Office Manager/Registrar. This position requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while balancing office support responsibilities with campus monitoring duties. You will work closely with office staff and campus personnel to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for students, families, and staff throughout the school day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk coverage and support for the receptionist during daily lunch periods and other times as needed.
- Assist students visiting the front office and provide general customer service support to students, families, and staff.
- Support Student Success Team (SST - tutoring) activities by assisting with room setup, supplies, and preparation for student programming.
- Monitor students participating in SST and provide supervision throughout the instructional day.
- Assist with student technology distribution and collection, including Chromebook checkout and related support tasks.
- Assist with student monitoring through programs such as Securly Classroom or similar student supervision tools as assigned.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of hallways, common areas, and campus facilities to maintain student safety and appropriate behavior expectations.
- Assist with supervision of student lunch periods and other student gathering times.
- Monitor and supervise designated campus buildings and learning spaces throughout the school day.
- Assist with maintaining tutoring and student learning spaces, including organization and cleanup as needed.
- Serve as a flexible support position, assisting with both office and campus responsibilities based on daily operational needs.
- Collaborate with office staff to provide clerical, administrative, and customer service support as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager/Registrar and Executive Director.
Typical Weekly Responsibilities:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: Responsibilities will primarily focus on Student Success Team support, student supervision, Chromebook management, hallway and campus monitoring, lunch supervision, and monitoring of designated campus buildings and tutoring spaces.
- Wednesdays and Fridays: Responsibilities will primarily focus on providing flexible support to office operations and campus needs, assisting with administrative tasks, front office responsibilities, and campus supervision as directed by office leadership.
This position requires the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a positive and professional presence while interacting with students, families, and staff members.

This position is designed to be a 40 hours/week school year position.

We are willing to consider adding extra alternate job duties during summer hours if a qualified candidate needs the position to be year-round. Summer hours are reduced to 28 hours/week regardless.
