Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of chairside experience outside of schooling. The ideal candidate is punctual, dependable, skilled, and capable of working efficiently without compromising accuracy. This role also includes select front desk responsibilities, so strong communication skills and professionalism are a must. The schedule for the position is M-Th 12-5:30 and Friday 7:45-5:30 with the alternate week being M-Th 1-6:30 and Friday 8:45-6:30.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized operatory and sterilization area
- Accurately take X-rays, impressions, scans, and records
- Assist with patient education and ensure exceptional patient care
- Perform select front desk duties, including answering phones, confirming appointments, and assisting with patient check-in/out
- Follow all office protocols and infection control standards
- Willingly learn new skills, accept direction, and adapt to evolving office systems
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience (beyond school training)
- Current Florida dental assisting credentials and radiology certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without errors
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow within the practice
- Experience with front desk tasks is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
