ABOUT THE POSITION
RX30 Fitness is looking for a highly outgoing, energetic and fitness-minded person to help us connect with more families and adults in our local community.
Although this position includes front-desk responsibilities, its primary purpose is lead generation and community outreach. You will actively engage with people walking through our shopping center, introduce them to RX30 and encourage them to sign up for an adult trial week or a kids’ trial class.
This is not a position for someone who wants to sit behind the front desk and scroll through their phone. We need someone who enjoys starting conversations, meeting new people and creating excitement around fitness.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Approach and engage people walking through the shopping center.
- Introduce adults and parents to RX30’s fitness programs.
- Explain our adult trial week and kids’ trial-class offers.
- Collect contact information from interested prospects.
- Help prospects register for a trial or schedule their first visit.
- Follow up with leads by phone or text when assigned.
- Learn and confidently explain all RX30 services, schedules and membership options.
- Welcome members and trial participants as they enter the studio.
- Answer basic questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Keep the front-desk area clean, organized and professional.
- Track daily conversations, leads and trial registrations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The right candidate is:
- Extremely outgoing and comfortable approaching people they do not know.
- Friendly, confident and able to carry a natural conversation.
- Interested in fitness and living an active lifestyle.
- Motivated by goals and measurable results.
- Comfortable hearing “no” and continuing with a positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual and professional.
- Willing and able to learn all the services RX30 offers.
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet to collect contact information and register leads.
- Able to remain active and engaged throughout the entire shift.
- Experienced in sales, promotions, hospitality, fitness or customer service is preferred, but not required.
HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED
This is primarily a lead-generation position. Success will be based on:
- The number of meaningful conversations started.
- The number of qualified leads collected.
- Adult trial weeks and kids’ trial classes booked.
- Trial participants who arrive for their scheduled visit.
- Consistent follow-up and accurate lead tracking.
